In the central square of this quaint village, under a beautiful pergola you can enjoy in the summer, you can eat al fresco and enjoy local specialties. The menu will be a typical Slovenian Italian choice from the Karst region: it will be meat and red wine, but every choice is delicious. It may not be summery, but still very enjoyable on a summer evening. Try the local red wines, Refosco or Terrano, as you won't find them elsewhere.
It's a very nice family owned restaurant, the stuff is very friendly and they serve excelent local food. They also have good local wine and it's not expensive. But it is hard to reach from the motorway so you have to take some time.
