Although I walked past Trans Asia many times during our visits to Düsseldorf we were never there around dinner time. Today I decided to plan for being there at the end of our visit. I was not disappointed at all. We all really enjoyed our noodle dishes. I had the beef with spicy hoisin sauce and my wife and son took the chicken with pineapple and sweet & sour sauce. What Reggie Hammes doesn't like about Trans Asia:
This is the second time i visit this place and i have to say i got really dissapointed. I chose the fried noodles box to go BOX for EUR and it was terrible. First of all the noodles were very dry and almost...attached to each other as one mass. Second, you could with difficulty find any sign of vegetables on it. This fast food place is located at the basement of the HeinrichHeinePlatz inside the Galleria Kaufhof. It has a relatively extensive menu from appetitizer, noodle, rice dishes with chicken, meat and fish, it also offers vegetarian dishes and Thai curry dishes. We tried the roasted...duck Thai curry, the duck was crispy and the curry was creamy which is a nice combination. The other dish we ordered was beef in Houston sauce, where the beef was tender and the whole dish was tasty. the service was very good from order taking to fast delivery. I would recommend this place for lunch if you are busy shopping in the area
