The place is very interesting and Crowded. I tried the "Schweinemedaillons" ,( pork filets), with champignons (from the can, not fresh). In general an average taste, good but forgettable. One bier, the main dish plus a large express was 20 euros. View all feedback.

Well, can you remember My big fat greek wedding? At that time, I was enjoying the great Greek family, which in many areas also resembled my Italian relationship; I mean to have found the Greek restaurant almost identically also in Düsseldorf: The Taverne Pegasos! There it smashed me on Friday night and I really thought I was sitting with Tula's parents in the living room :D It was loud, it was big and hectic, but nevertheless the whole shop, from ambience to staff, radiated a certain family atmosphere. As a main dish, I ordered the traditional Mousaka. What initially presented itself as an optically small portion and a lasagna was a culinary masterpiece. Jam jam, rarely eat so good Mousaka! Before there was an olive, bread and an eggplant paste, a red wine was not allowed to miss. At the end of course Ouzo. I'd call the store a secret tip, from the outside he seems quite inconspicuous, a Greek, of which there's zig in every city. But if you want to eat very well (and for Düsseldorfer relations) and if you don't mind a somewhat louder background atmosphere, you should pay a visit to the Pegasos:

At first glance, the Taverne Pegasos seems to be nicely furnished, which is no longer interesting if unfriendly unattended employees can give you the place. The chairs are uncomfortable and the tables are unsuitable. The constellation of tables leads to you having only a few cm to the next foreign person. Talking here is unpleasant because no privacy. After setting and studying the card, the drinks came. We both had warm Cola without carbon dioxide. Probably all the time out. Then we ordered the food. Appetizer was a plate with a few slices of eggplants and tomatoes. To this end, the olive oil, which is already on the table, could pour to make the dry eggplants more pleasant. After a long time the main food came. We thought all the time, okay, it takes a long time, but if it's worth it... Then something came. My friend ordered the special grill plate. He doesn't get too big a plate that was half skinned with salad. The other half was decorated with vegetables where a few small and not fine pieces of meat were hidden. There was 1! a small lambstick-coop, an undamaged frikadelle (which was later placed as a bifteki, a piece of pig and a spit. 4 parts that were very small and were not seasoned at all. My main dinner was ridiculous. I ordered a huge tile plate from the category of sea, fish or the like. Not from the appetizer card! I also paid the 19,50€ that were given there. So there was no misunderstanding. I have 6 whole shrimps (so it looks like much. The plate was sweetly decorated with salad leaves and a lemon column. Hmmm, delicious shrimp I thought until I noticed how small the part of all shrimps you can eat. If you place these 6 small pieces of shrimp meat next to each other, it's just a bite. Best suited as a small appetizer. It would have been acceptable for an appetizer, but certainly not at the price of almost 20 euros! I would have expected a lot more. More shrimps and possibly a bath to him or similar, more creativity to him, the dish was so sweet dressed... We also complained when we were asked by a passing employee if it tasted. At first my friend complained and counted all the mentioned minus points of his meal. The waitress answered him with the listing everything on the plate: 1 piece of lamb, 1 piece of pig, 1 spit, 1 bifteki... when she said, Bifteki, we both had to laugh. We know Bifteki well seasoned and delicious from other Greeks. We just had a tasteless faux leather. She counted these pieces of meat and that was it. She said. I also complained about this overpriced appetizer who was praised as a noble main food. I didn't get a sentence for that. She said "interested" Okay. We have now thought that it will pass on all this to our waiter and that he could apologize and offer something just one ouzo or another. But he came with the bill, called the sum. We left over 60 euros in the store. 2 Euro tip (Normally we always give at least 5 Euro, over 50 Euro 10% he also got. There was nothing of him. He didn't ask us if it tastes. Apparently, he heard about it from his colleague, but he didn't want to talk to us about it. FAZIT: We are completely disappointed by this business. Bad service, little food, partly unmarried and absolutely not criminal. The atmosphere is very loud, even if not so full evening. Overprices. We were not even fed after dinner and ordered pizza home. Of the Greeks, I usually expect above average large portions and no mini plates. Absolutely disappointing. If we were better at the well-known store.
After a complete renovation due to a fire in 2016, there were no sound-absorbing elements. The loud railway hall character has remained. You have to defeat your neighbor or speak directly in your ear. Terrible. The food quality makes me a good impression of the material, but the preparation is worthy of improvement. Half pig pussies do not go, even if the service comments that they can. However, the meat can also be obtained in the coal casing. The vegetables are lucky, there is the same thing until the stock is exhausted, then something new comes on the plate. Very good, which is not advantageous for any vegetables. Personally, I don't think it's pleasant if I'm constantly interviewed and served by other service personnel. Overall, the restaurant with its many seats is oriented to a high throughput and I find myself, price/performance management does not correspond to the numerous praise stickers of well-known reviewers that are shortened in a window.
