Cucina Farina - Duesseldorf

The food was mediocre, the bourgeois only half through and cold. French fries were great. Service very inattentive. Part of the drinks only came on request. When empty glasses were on the table, demand could have increased sales significantly. Dessert would also have been desired, but the waitresses had more to talk to each other behind the counter

The food at Cucina Farina is really great every time and the ambience of the small restaurant is great. The only thing that spoils this impression is the really terrible service. It's not that the staff there are rude, on the contrary. But they are simply disorganized, unstructured, and forgetful. On our last visit there were ladies in the service, a lady was standing at the bar and, I suspect the boss, kept the lady at the bar company. Minutes after we arrived at the restaurant, another lady, apparently an acquaintance, came and sat down at the bar. Now it was more about the lady and her dog than the guests. We waited minutes for us to be allowed to order, our drinks were forgotten and after we had finished and minutes had passed without any attention, I went to the counter and asked for the bill. It's a shame because we actually wanted to order a dessert. All of the descriptions would of course be ok if the restaurant had been packed on a Saturday evening. But it was Wednesday evening and there were other guests in the restaurant with us. So it's not nice when you sit at your table and see the staff at the bar eating and drinking while you still have your dirty plates in front of your nose. And unfortunately we notice this behavior again and again. It's a shame because the food is great and you could feel very comfortable in the ambience. But such a service breaks a lot

Very loud, not recommended if you want to have a cozy meal for two. The operation is nice, they do everything well
