Cuisine fine et fraîche. Un poisson particulièrement cuisiné avec le plus grand soin.Un service impeccable et attentif qui a compris notamment que nous avions une contrainte horaire. Un passage à ne pas manquer à Ducey. View all feedback.

That was an unpromptu meal with my good lady. beautiful simple setting with beautiful gardens. the meal was delicious and the service attentive
Another excellent overnight at this pretty overfall. our first trip to France for almost two years; far too long because of Covid-19. we had luck with a late booking to get one of the garden rooms. the usual warm greeting of the owners patrice. and sandra girres we chose the 53 euro menu de perre, which was an excellent decision. we are always a little hesitant with a menu that has no choice, but this is a facility where they can trust the owners and the chef. a large selection of different aromes in each cure all beautifully presented and explained. the lamb looked like to use all parts of the animal including rib meat, bein and saddle. three very different aromes. with our aperitifs and, of course, some calvados we had some wonderful fresh sea snails to finish the meal. some mentions are also selected by the cheese table, including the local and other French artisan cheese of sandra, which were all really good. one of us has decided to take the local honey with the cheeses. this is at first sight an unusual combination, but we had it with stilton in devon before and it works really well. sandra advised us that this beautiful local honey could be bought in leclerc in avranches and we found it there on the way to our gite so that we now have some glasses back in england. a very good breakfast buffet in the morning. that is really a nice place to stay.
Excellent evening dinner, Gothic service, friendly staff. I had dinner here twice during our stay in ducey. cheeseboard to remember with local sorts.
We have been in the past a few times in the auberge de la sélune and it was always quite good; but since the last time we visited, the old owners went to rest and took over their son and their daughter-in-law. the menu. a little makeover and the dining room too. it is worth a visit. we ate there on a Wednesday evening end september and while there were people in the dining room, the place was not packed. (in these COVID times all precautions were taken, including the placement between the tables. it felt very safe and very well thought out it is a nice room, not especially beautiful, but pleasantly decorated and welcoming. personal also. we ate as appetizers razor clams in garlic and petersilie and molkens with a harissa mayonnaise. both dishes were perfectly rated muscheln can get hard to get right, but these were juicy, rich and tasty. for our main course we had lamm absolutely beautiful in taste and texture. served with hand-cut chips that were clobular and hot and salty. not particularly refined, but so very, very tasty and a perfect companion to the meat. in retrospect, it would have been useful to order a few sweet or a bit of salad, but at the heat of the moment when we rejected it. You stupid! I'm sure they had been brought to us if we had changed our minds. dessert was a big profiterole with salted caramel ice cream and a hot chocolate sauce not difficult, not too sweet and beautiful textured. and a bottle fleury, the spectacular good was worth every penny. ducey is a pleasant place and it is convenient for le mont st michel. the auberge is a small hotel at the river sélune and we were in a very pleasant room with views of the gardens. a real tasty bite. you should go.
We had a very nice dinner with an absolute great piece of hake with chorizo that was perfectly cooked and flavored with nice fresh herbs and very tasty vegetables. Also ceviche of seabrem nicely flavored with a mixture of herbs . Nice wines and great...terrace. Excellent evening
