Pizzeria Castro - Dubrovnik

Really friendly and helpful service, the much about the amount of people who go through and that there is a great race this day happening. the pizza was excellent with great teig and fresh ingredients and it quickly arrived. the toilet is unisex and there is only one stall so they might have to wait a bit if someone already used it, but they can watch how the pizza is made while they wait. the prices are what they expect from a restaurant with this location, but trust me, it is worth it.

We had a dinner in this restaurant/pizzeria which is really nice, on beautiful location, underneath the famous stairs in Dubrovnik. Game of thrones scene (Cersei's walk of shame) was filmed here. Pizza is really good, average size. But from all things, politeness of staff (2 young people, unfortunately I don't know their names, girl seated us really quick even though there were some other people waiting as well and the boy was serving us) is the first thing that comes upon my mind. All recommendations for Pizzeria Castro!

You can make any pizza gluten free. 2 pizzas, a beer and a water cost us 240kn. Seemed really popular so maybe book in advance, we got lucky with a table. Very efficient waiter.

A great place for refreshment and a quick meal. Seriously, folks: Pizza served here is among the best in whole Croatia. Baked properly, served properly and really delicious. Prices are also not gargantuan like in most of Dubrovnik.

A wonderful pizzeria situated in the Center of Dubrovnik old town beneath the “shame” stairway. The food here stood out from the numerous touristy restaurants that serve expensive but average food. Castro’s pizzas are tasty and fresh with generous toppings. The crust is Italian-style thin and light. We ate here repeatedly during our stay in town and would happily recommend!
