Mex Cantina Bona Fide - Dubrovnik

Friendly staff, who once they knew I was vegan, quickly went through the veggie options that could be made vegan. This was basically all the veggie options by removing the cheese and/or sour cream. The food was incredibly tasty, and the portions were large and filling.

Nice Mexican in the old town of Dubrovnik. Staff is vegan aware and can make most of the vegetarian dishes vegan. I had the vegan burrito and nachos and guac which was nice. A little expensive but no more than the other restaurants around. Margarita cocktails were okay but would not recommend. Updated from previous review on 2023-09-11

Ordered a vegetarian burrito with no cheese or sour cream. Came without dairy, but then found pieces of chicken in it! Waiter apologised profusely and removed from the bill, and said some chicken had got into the rice by accident. So off putting!! A shame because the burrito without bits of meat was tasty and the portions were huge.

The food here was absolutely delicious and the staff were super friendly and accommodating. The vegetables tasted fresh and the food was spiced perfectly! I had the vegetarian fajitas and my boyfriend had the vegetarian burrito and we loved both of them, we were really impressed that you could take all of the meat options and make them vegetarian which isn’t something you can always do!

Great food, lots of vegan options. When I asked the staff to take out the cheese of something he asked if I was vegan then said he would take the sour cream out too. So the staff were knowledgeable regarding veganism! Will likely reattend here whilst in debrovnik
