Horizont - Dubrovnik

That was delicious. the personal was really friendly and the clear and atmosphere was very nice. they play a pleasant music in the background. it's a bit expensive, but I guess dubrownik is such a popular destination now and they pay for it. we paid for two main fish courses and a bottle of water 360 kunas £44). we went around 8 o'clock, mid september and there were empty tables on the outside.

We sat outside on the stairs so the view was unsurpassed and the meal that much better. But the food was delicious even without the incredible view. We ordered several appetizers for the table including mussels and caprese. We were not disappointed with anything! The waiters were very friendly and accomodating and helped me understand what I could eat that was gluten free.

Best to make a reservation at least one day earlier to ensure outdoor seating. The food was very well prepared. Domestic (homemade olive oil has a smooth buterry mouth feel with a hint of sweetness. My medium rare grilled beef was tender and juicy even though it was a tad too rare for my liking (tip: their medium is probably medium rare in the US. . The view was gorgeous during sunset, and the wait staff were on their game with competent service and with the friendliest attitude ever. Thank you Vedran for such memorable dining experience for our last night in Dubrovnik.

Not to be missed. This little restaurant is just across from the Old Town drawbridge entrance. The food is very good and the portions are just right. The staff are extremely attentive. The owner/waiter (I believe) is very polite and helpful. Will definitely drop by again when in Dubrovnik.

This is the best restaurant I have eaten in for quiet a while. Beautifully prepared mains and dessert. Very curious staff. Can't fault it really and I am usually quite critical. Even the house wines where very nice.
