While some reviews mentioned slow service and issues with their orders, many customers praised the delicious food and generous portions. Margaritas are a highlight, especially during happy hour. The extensive menu caters to different tastes, and the vibrant interior adds to the dining experience. Whether you're craving steak fajitas, cheesy quesadillas, or fresh shrimp, Casa Patron has something for everyone. While some may prefer more authentic Mexican spots, Casa Patron remains a solid and appealing choice for dining in the Columbus area.
The ambiance is fantastic, the staff is friendly, and the food is scrumptious! Every visit I've had over the years has been excellent.
The food took an hour to come out, and then I was charged not only for our meals, but for another table as well. They didn't know how to void the extra charge, so I am still waiting for it to be resolved. I would have considered returning later if my bank didn't rectify the situation. This is unacceptable service and I will not be going back.
This is definitely one of the better Mexican restaurants I was in the area of Columbus (second to La Casita). The margaritas come in 3 comfortable sizes and are EXCELLENT. Far bigger than those in El Vaquero. Presentation was nothing new, but the quality of the food was definitely above your typical Mexican restaurant. Although the atmosphere is always so light Americanized, the decor was very unique and colorful, and I found it tasteful. Casa Patron is definitely a solid choice for Mexican cuisine.
We thought the drinks were overpriced for sure $9.50 for an 1800 Margarita. Service was slow and my husband got sick as ever 2 hours after eating the chicken his eyes r still swollen!!!
We shared the nachos supreme and they were very good!... but the next morning we were both very sick. Just want to know if this happened to anyone else. :
