Just stopped in for breakfast on my last morning in Dublin! I was staying in a hostel right around the corner, and wanted to grab a big meal before starting my day's travels. Very friendly staff and the food is good hearty food
Tuesday's breakfast was at this place on our Dublin arrival. No wait for sitting with my party of two. I gave it 3 stars from my 5 star rating: decoration/cleanliness, plate decor/presentation, service, food taste, and whether it's worth the journey to make it here or simply a detour. The place was clean and it had a cute homey themed decor. Service was good and prompt and food taste was good too. The food was very homey tasting and satisfying. I hadn't had eggs in over a year so this was phenomenal with toast. They also bring complimentary orange juice and coffee! Good portions if you're hungry too !Plate presentation was regular and so they did not get a star for this, but who cares when I enjoyed the food! Sometimes you just have to consider it over all how good was the food and the service. Was it worth the journey? Definitely will be eating here again before leaving Dublin!
Excellent service. Delicious coffee and wow, just have a scone! Honestly just no frills, quiet, I got some work done and a snack.
Just stopped in for breakfast on my last morning in Dublin! I was staying in a hostel right around the corner, and wanted to grab a big meal before starting my day's travels. I actually got to the restaurant a little before they opened, so I waited down the street a little, and one of the owners (I think) came up to me to make sure I wasn't lost! Both owners were very nice and welcoming, in typical Irish fashion. For 8 euros, I got eggs, bacon, toast, OJ, and tea. I didn't take a picture of my meal but the portions were huge. Service was fast and food was tasty! This is definitely a no frills establishment, but I quite liked it and would recommend to anyone in the area looking for simple but delicious food!
This place is excellent for the perfect breakfast before sight-seeing around town. Friendly service, simple menu, and good prices. I feel like this is the typical version of an Irish diner. Feels authentic.
