The pub looks great from the outside, but the inside is rather standard. So there are much more comfortable locations. You don't step on your toes because not everything is covered with tables. Live music is guaranteed here almost non stop, but as is often the case in Temple Bar a guy with a guitar sits in front of a wall and reels off the usual program. If you want more than that, you'll definitely find it elsewhere... View all feedback.
What Paul nguyen doesn't like about The Auld Dubliner:
A historic temple Bar pub that doesn't seem to have thought through recent renovations and not a great atmosphere as it used to. You pay tourist prices here for pretty sloppy pours when you can go a few blocks up the road for nicer and cheaper View all feedback.

One of my favorite bars in Dublin! Great atmosphere, the (live) music isn't too loud and prices are acceptable for Temple Bar. You feel completely comfortable here.
Great pub, welcoming staff, good Guinness and live music... What more could you ask for?
