Kingfisher Townhouse

Back to Kingfisher after 19 years. We brought the kids here when they were toddlers, stayed in Jurys opposite and bought smoked brown fish and brought it back to the hotel room. They still talk about it to this day. Food did not miss a beat, was unreal! We will definitely be back. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great value

This is a nice little spot to get fish and chips or more pub-type food, if that's what you're into. It's a fairly small and tightly packed restaurant, so you will be fairly close to other people eating. I can say that the food was really tasty and it came very quickly. I would just give it 4 stars out of 5 as I found the restaurant to be quite loud and rather cold. Two small personal preferences, but still a great little place to eat! Rooms: 3

Food drinks: The best fish and chips lacked flavor in my opinion. The burger was better. The service was good.

I have stayed at the Kingfisher B&B different times for the past 25 years and I have always had a great stay. Rooms were clean and had everything I could ask for and a great price. The locations is perfect especially if you are visiting Dublin, the top of O'Connell street and walking distance to most of city centre. Don't forget the top notch Irish breakfast downstair too!
