My husband and I enjoyed an early bird on a Saturday night. We eat at indian restaurants often and this one can compete with the best! We had 2 starters and 2 mains which came with naan bread and rice. The food came to about €36 and we had a lovely bottle of wine for approx €18. What Robbie D doesn't like about Kasturi:
I've been a regular here since it opened they really do lovely food. I have to say the only let down is one particular member of staff who's been there years is very unfriendly often quite rude. Other than that it's lovely. View all feedback.
Tonight I dined at Kasturi Indian restaurant in Dublin. So far the Indian food in Dublin has impressed me a lot. However this place did not impress me at all. I ordered the chicken tiki supreme with a side or garlic naan and some samosas. I was disappointed when the samosas didn't come with any chutney and I had to order it for extra on the side. The chicken tiki was okay, not the best nor the worst. Something positive I can say about it is how it was nice and hot when served. As for the garlic naan it was probably my favorite but not the best I've ever had. The service was a little below average my waiter seemed annoyed with me even though I was the only costumer in the restaurant. He rolled his eyes at me when I asked for a glass of ice and he was not friendly at all. As for the ambiance it was quite pretty but there was a smell that I couldn't get past when I walked in. The bathrooms were also a little on the dirtier side and the toilet in the women's bathroom did not flush. Overall I would save your time and money and go eat Indian food elsewhere, there is so many amazing Indian food restaurants in Dublin that are way tastier than kasturi.

I was very impressed- when I asked the server for recommendation on two different dishes, he made a suggestion: to add a bit of a kick to the tikka masala so I could have the best of the two dishes that I was torn between. It was awesome! The service was friendly and attentive. The food portions and quality was excellent. A gem of a spot. We will return!
