We had such an amazing experience for mothers day here . For starters i got the soup of the day it was one of the nicest soups ive had. My Mother went for the scallops and they were delicious.Our server was a woman with black hair she was so wonderful and the service was perfect. For mains we had the steak with chips and the sea bass we would not recommend them enough. This experience was definitely worth the price and i will definitely be returning. Irish fillet steak was absolutely delicious, especially the flavour balance between the meat, caramelised onions, and mash, which I ordered. The steak was so juicy and cooked to perfection. I asked for medium rare, and it was perfect. Staff were lovely and accommodating. I highly recommended this restaurant, for their staff, the service they provide, and the food all were amazing. I will definitely be returning to Chequer Lane in the near future. Also, I definitely recommend the crispy squid. You won't regret it.
