Very original set up. I am not sure if I like the booth, but... I guess it 's matter of taste. I am not sure if a slow service is a thing in Dublin. As everywhere we went it took a while for us to order a meal. When we arrived, it wasn 't that busy. It looked like they were very understaffed. I am guessing it was a manager meeting and seating guests, then he was trying to take orders, serve drinks.... When we 've ordered our meal, it came out very fast. The chicken "Parmigiana“ it was outstanding. The guy didn 't mind sharing the secret of the dish. I had Lamb shank, that it was nice, but I hoped for a little bit of a wow factor after tasting the chicken. I am glad that our daughter point it out about 10 percent tip charge on the bill. As we normally leave a little bit more than that, but if we haven 't seen it....

My partner and I went to 1909 for a lovely Valentine 's Day dinner. Because the lack of the vegetarian food, we asked the waiter if its okay to have a salad with tofu which is offered until 4.30pm. Our reservation was at 5pm. He said let me check with the chef. And he came back with good news that the chef agreed and we wanted to order the rest of the food and we were faced with an attitude and his words were Guys, you cannot order in 5-6 different times. Order everything all at the same time, huh I believe he forgot to even ask us if we wanted anything else before running to the kitchen. I believe this wasnt a very nice attitude in fact I find it to be very rude. And he had only 2 tables with customers, one of which was us. Unfortunately we will not be coming back because of the rude attitude we received on the Valentine 's Day. The food was good, but only one option for vegetarian food which is dissapointing.
