I loved the atmosphere and food! I recommend booking in advance even if we were lucky and made us sit immediately without reservation. exquisite dishes and staff really available: right portions (I took a slow cooking beef cut that melted in the mouth and filled me the right) and cost proportional to the quality. I didn't find a defect! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Pig's Ear:
A 12.5% service charge is far too high for a table of four people. Food was decent and the staff were nice but the added service charge of approximately €50 spoiled a nice evening Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner View all feedback.
This restaurant truly deserves its two Michelin stars. The dishes are beautifully presented and showcase a delightful twist on Irish cuisine. While it is on the pricier side, the quality makes it well worth it. It's conveniently located next to Trinity College. I highly recommend it!
I had the pleasure of trying Irish food for the first time at this restaurant, and I must say, it was absolutely delicious! The atmosphere was calm and inviting, which made the experience even better. I was particularly delighted to see a Korean staff member there; he was incredibly helpful in guiding us through the menu, especially since we were quite indecisive. I truly appreciate his patience! All the staff members were friendly and made us feel welcome. I will definitely return, and you must try their cheesecake—it's fantastic!
If you're seeking an exceptional dining experience in Dublin, make sure to check out Schwein's Ear. The food is outstanding, and while the wine list may be small, it is carefully curated and excellent. The prices are surprisingly reasonable given the high quality of both the food and the ambiance. This place should definitely be included in every culinary tour of Dublin.
Understated and fuss free, This is a place for a good meal in a relaxed, unpredictable atmosphere. No Posh decoration, only a few pigs on the shelf; the food speaks for itself. We had a nice anniversary dinner got a free plate of ice, with “Happy Anniversary” written with chocolate... Pork Ear cheesecake brought childhood memories (serek Danio, if you are Polish; but wine jelly with fruit was even better! But before Desserts we had to share a “Hotpot” and Wicklow Venison and it was soooo delicious we didn’t even get a chance to photograph it; so fast we were to sink our teeth. Starter Celeriac schnitzel tasted very “Christmassy”, but in a good nostalgic way, with marinated mushrooms and cheese sauce. Yum! I also had a non-alcoholic sparkling wine and it was delicious, went well with everything, perfect balance of tar and light bubbles. Hubby had kir royale and homemade Irish strawberry wine interesting experience; Staff was very quick to use and to help with everything. Generally, the experience was worth the money. I just wish they had a tad wider menu, but I understand that everything was seasonal and was on site. We have agreed that this is the best thing you can do with Irish ingredients in Ireland
I had two dinners at the Pig’s Ear during a recent trip to Dublin and I absolutely loved it. Amazing quality on all plates, the trout in particular was truly delicious. Congrats and I will definitely be back next time I will be in Dublin
