Jack's Catfish Shrimp - Dublin

Before two weeks fought for dinner and the line was in front of the door when I finally got a table, it took thirty minutes for a server to take my order.

This restaurant, although a local dipping restaurant (located in a dipping district), I must give it 5 stars to consistently fulfill my expectations.

This place is a complete dive. in the middle of the nowhere in a downstairs with homes sloppy trees. the dirt/handle was parking.

My wife and I arrived at 7 o'clock on a Friday night. we were third in the line and waited about 10 min for a table. our appetizer, roasted green tomaten, came quite fast. When my wife went into one, it was so fat that she literally splashed on her hemd. our waitress apologised, but nothing else did. our entrée arrived about 30 minutes later. the koleslaw had a very strong sweet pickle taste. the cat was good. the shellfish was just wrong. the oysters were boiled to the gum, the scalopps drop-wise of fat, the garnel had no real taste. it's sad. jack was a very good place, but at our last visit we decided that it went downhill. we have no plans to go back....read more

Best food for miles. some of the best cats I've ever eaten. lives about 40 minutes from dublin. will try again and again!
