best fish and chips I've ever had. very fresh tasting. the chips were hot and tasty as if they had just been cut. two times there, had fish twice. travel to dublin again in a week. you want to try another dish, but I would certainly miss the fish. the waiter reminded me of my first visit. he remembered what I ate and drank and where I sat! like the cozy atmosphere and great local music. I'm back. View all feedback.
What Mandy Richards doesn't like about The Castle Vaults:
the restaurant is hidden in the cellar what they would expect with a name like vault. I made a reservation, but it was really not necessary. we sat in the lounge area of the bar and eating was in order for bar/pub food. honestly with a name like castle vaults I expected more. it was just a pub. Wouldn’t recommend at all, food is not value for money what so ever.
Nice food, especially the salmon, unique cosy setting, great music by Ray cox and all of us had a great time.

Even though the menu looks promising I was quite disappointed by this restaurant.
