What User likes about The Ferryman:
Lovely pub. Efficient friendly service. Great pints. Covid certs checked... Distancing at seats ensured. The guy at the door (a manager or owner I would think) was amazing. So friendly and helpful in a difficult situation (restricting access, checking certs) and picking up glasses, getting ice for the bar etc... Very impressed! Will be back. Might even stay the next time! View all feedback. What User doesn't like about The Ferryman:
Tends to be very busy with the after work crowd, but if you are looking for the real Dublin pub experience in the centre of town you can't go wrong with The Ferryman View all feedback.

read moreThe 1790s pub in Dublin offers a classic Irish experience, with a mix of historic charm and good food. The fish and chips were a hit, though the skin left something to be desired. The pricing received mixed reviews. The rooms above were clean but had plumbing issues. The Guinness is top-notch, and the authentic atmosphere is a hit with locals and tourists alike. Cool Pup offers a cheaper drinking option with outdoor seating, perfect for a diverse crowd. Overall, a fantastic spot with friendly staff, great pints, and a welcoming vibe that keeps customers coming back.
The hotel didn't visit, just drew attention to a beautiful building.
Room was beautiful. Staff were lovely and very welcoming and helpful . Can't wait to come back. Xx
I was there for a function upstairs. Room was perfect, food was delicious. Staff were really nice, highly recommend

This is a classic pub where locals drink hard and stiff drinks. It's not much in the atmosphere or once, but if you don't find any more in Dublin...
Friendly neighborhood pub. Great little spot. Large beer, cozy, sports-sub-type ambience
