Contribute FeedbackMoli offers excellent food in a clean interior, but service can be subpar. The menu is limited, with large portion sizes, and slow dessert service. The staff is friendly and accommodating, despite some issues with cheese sizes on sandwiches. The outdoor seating area at the Commons provides a great atmosphere for a quick lunch, with hot and tasty food. Prices can be a bit high, but overall a nice casual option near Stephen's Green. The restaurant is best for sharing dishes and enjoying the lovely location, despite the higher cost of some items.
Best vegetarian sandwich in dublin, goat cheese together with the beetroot melts in her mouth.
Food was nice, but service is very bad. Very long waiting times for a table and order. The staff and were not too busy, either so not sure why it is so poor. At one point, an employee was just filling endless water bottles instead of seeing customers. Very strange. We had to ask someone to take our order, and they were rude that we had to ask them. I wouldn't recommend it. Small note, but pay for the soup with the sandwich and they no longer give the side salad. Not sure why. It is not specified that you will no longer get the salad.
A nice casual option for a quick lunch if you're near Stephen's Green. Simple soup, sandwich, tea in the courtyard nothing fancy (I still miss Hatch and Sons at the Little Museum), but decent prices and kind staff.
Now this cafe encourages one ot sit and linger and read and enjoy coffee and cake or more. It is generously spacious in the basement with outside tables which on a sunny day in May were perfect. Service is friendly and they will come to the table to take your order. The shop is next door so it is very tempting after visiting MOLI to buy something ot read and start devouring it with the excellent coffee and cake. You can visit the cafe without paying to visit the Museum so do check it out!!!
Sorry to see standards have dropped at the cafe attached to the museum here in Stephens Green. Despite having an ideal location with a generous, leafy garden space in the city centre the food on offer is underwhelming a generic menu which tastes even blander than it reads. An overpriced ham and cheese sandwich delivered no Durrus that was discernible to my palate and what I can only describe as 'plastic ' ham. To be charged just under 10 euro for this seems a ripoff.... Only 1 girl doing her best to serve everyone I know staffing is a current difficulty and she was friendly and helpful. It is a shame and a huge waste of potential when this could be an iconic restaurant showcasing the best of Irish food in an Irish cultural venue......
