What User doesn't like about The Bernard Shaw:
It looks gorgeous, staff are fantastic and good selection of drinks. I hate that they serve food in disposable paper packaging. There's a large kitchen. For people sitting down they should be able to use plates. We had just finished a clean up along the Royal Canal and this left a particularly bad taste in my mouth. View all feedback. Fantastic venue with a wide range of drinks and friendly staff. Be sure to get a pizza from Village Pizza while you're there, their veggie November pizza of the month with purple potatoes and asparagus is highly recommended! View all feedback.

read moreThe Bernard Shaw offers a mixed experience according to patrons. Some found the bar staff to be inattentive and overpriced drinks, while others enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and variety of food options. Highlights include delicious burgers, accommodating staff, and the option to bring dogs. The venue can be crowded during sports events, leading to long waits for service. Overall, it appears that The Bernard Shaw is a hit or miss depending on the time and day of the visit.
