Thought we would try a takeaway Indian and after a lot of debate decided never again. From Onion Baker to the vindaloo it was a case of finding the meat. Chicken tikka masala was half a chicken with more bones than meat and very dry....No l wouldn't recommend nor would we go again View all feedback.
This restaurant makes you feel like you're eating home-cooked food. It's a great value if you're looking for affordable options with generous portion sizes without sacrificing quality or taste. It's my favorite Indian takeaway spot.
The food at this restaurant is generally delicious, but it can be challenging to find parking since it is located next to a busy Domino's store. The woman working behind the counter is not very friendly and could benefit from some customer service training.
Always get chicken and lamb bayrani with Rita sauce here … top of the range . The madras and tikka masala is also amazing
We decided to try a takeaway Indian restaurant and after much consideration, we have decided we will not be returning. From the Onion Bhaji to the Vindaloo, it was difficult to find any meat in the dishes. The Chicken Tikka Masala had more bones than meat and was very dry. Overall, I would not recommend this place and we will not be going back.
I usually order Indian food from local restaurants, and it usually costs around €30 for two delivered meals. However, I recently discovered shakira through marvin.ie and decided to give it a try. They offer a meal deal on their website for €10, which includes mains, rice, naan, and a drink (€11 for lamb). I couldn't believe the great price and was skeptical about the quality of the food. We ordered a lamb vindaloo and a lamb jalfrezi, along with two naans, two pilau rice, and two drinks for less than €19 with the deal and discount code from the marvin site. The food was exceptional and exceeded my expectations. I have found my new go-to spot for Indian food and won't be ordering from anywhere else again. The heat level of the vindaloo was perfect, allowing me to enjoy the flavors without it being overwhelming. Absolutely fantastic.
