Feedback
The restaurant received a mix of reviews from customers. While some enjoyed the food and live music atmosphere, others found the prices high and the service lacking. The chicken burger and fish dishes were not well received by some, but the soup and fries were reported to be delicious. The live music was a highlight for many, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. Despite some minor disappointments, the cozy vibe, great live music, and tasty dishes like the Guinness beef stew and cottage pie make this a recommended spot for a good Irish dinner in Dublin.
First dinner experience in Dublin. Great choice. Very efficient walkers despite crowding
Irish stew was great, the Guinness was cold, and service was exceptional considering the place was packed on a weeknight.
Very nice presentation of typical traditional Irish cuisine.
We stopped by chance after lunch, drawn by the music, and stumbled into this truly lovely pub. Fascinated by the atmosphere, we returned later that evening. We met some guys who even offered us two beers. The music was good, and the atmosphere was friendly. It was crowded in the evening, but you could easily find a spot on the side of the place to sit and have a drink. We'll be back!
As an American woman traveling abroad for the first time, I was very excited to visit and experience Dublin I visited Quays for my first night out in Dublin accompanied by some other girls I met. The live music was great, the drinks were reasonably priced, and the bar staff were quick given the crowd. What was truly exceptional about this bar is that when I was verbally accosted and body shamed by an older (drunk) woman, the bar acted incredibly quickly to resolve the situation. The bar staff picked up on it rather quickly, however, my friends and I left as the woman was relentless and made me cry in the bar (by no fault of the bar). By the time I got to the exit I was greeted by the bar manager who was trying to understand the situation and had already removed the woman from the bar. They let me know they didn't stand for that behavior and were even apologetic that they didn't address it sooner, although, in my opinion they addressed it fast and appropriately. I truly appreciate everything the bar staff did to ensure that this experience didnt leave a bad lasting impression on me.
