The food variety could be improved, but the staff is friendly and efficient. The loft apartments are clean and well-equipped, with some areas needing minor improvements. The location is convenient, with easy access to transportation and amenities. Overall, Molloy’s Pub is a comfortable and welcoming place to stay in Dublin, offering a pleasant experience for visitors and locals alike.
Entering by the front door is deceiving. There are several areas in the back with a fireplace, a stand for musicians and a second bar. It was however smelly of smoke. The food gets a mixed review. Fish and chips were very good. Discovered I...an not a fan of potato and leek soup, as the soups are pured and not chunky as I expected. Guinness pints are good!
Nice traditional pub serving decent pub food, I had a nice beef and Guinness pie, it had plenty of filling. They have traditional music at weekends from about service was nice and friendly would definitely return.
Grand pub , on Talbot Street , Pint is good , and not bad price , front bar renovated as it was all those years ago and snug is still there , good spot for the matches and big screens , food wasn't bad either..., live music when we visited after the games , Anybody from town , Dublin town will know Monto , and as the pub dates back to and was in the heart of it , Def worth a visit and a good pint
Had a pint of afford was good € 5,50 a pint, good clean glasses relaxed atmosphere good interieur would recommend to everyone
Loved staying here. Sure the street is noisy but what do you expect in the centre of any city. Lovely pub downstairs with chatty locals. everyone you want close by. We'll definitely be back!
