Dublin, Ireland I am writing this review after visiting bel cibo citywest at around 3.45pm yesterday on Saturday the 10/4/21 . Bel cibo has become a regular place for me that i often visit throughout the week these last few months as i live locally. Today i arrived in with my mother to order some beverages for myself my family who waited outside, upon arrival we walked up to the coffee till to order our drinks , there was a female member of staff behind the coffee area on the phone which was fine although i found it disappointing that we were never once greeted with as such as a hi there, I 'll be with you in one minute instead the lady continued speaking on the phone even after seeing us and said absolutely nothing to us but actually continued to walk off and sweep the floors to later return to serve us after the call ended. I did not have an issue with the phone call at all, how ever i did feel there was a lack of customer service from the get go which i do feel can absolutely hinder a customer 's experience rather negatively especially if there experience wasn 't the friendliest within the first few minutes of arriving in the cafe. First impressions can often be lasting impressions. However i continued to place my usual order when the member of staff decided she was ready to take our order. I made my regular order of a decaff coffee half way full which i normally top with cold milk. I then orderd two children 's hot chocolates 1 adults hot chocolate. Whilst the lady was making my order i had walked to the fridge in order to find a beverage suitable for my husband as he has certain dietary needs, i saw some smoothies which at first glance i thought would be perfect however after further inspectation i realised the premaid smoothies where in a plastic cup with a hole on top where the straws sat only two out of the six cups had a sticker tab that covered the gap near the straw that would otherwise be exposed to the airspace around it 's surrounding area in the fridge , i couldn 't help feel that it wasn 't the most sanitary in these times having some of the premaid smoothie cups with air gaps exposed in an area that multiple of customers may browse all the other minerals available at a close proximity to the smoothies pick up other beverages near by in the same fridge , after seeing this i decided against the smoothie being an option for my husband due to hygine concerns. I later less than 5 minutes) returned to the counter to collect to the beverages the member of staff had finished making. I saw the 3 hot chocolates together and asked which were the children 's hot chocolates to which she responded with there all the same this concerned me as when i worked as a barista a few years ago when someone asked me for a children 's hot chocolate a adults hot chocolate i was always taught that the temperatures of the milk were to be different for a child adult unless stated differently on the order. So i decided to taste the hot chocolates to make sure the temperature wouldn 't be too hot for my boys because as we know their little mouths pallets can be quite sensitive when exposed to different temperatures of liquids and food , well all i can say is thank god i tasted them before i gave them to the boys because as i predicted the temperature was a little hot for their little mouths. After tasting them i asked could she pour a little out of both the children 's drinks and add some cold milk please? Only to be told we can 't poor any out even though every week when i order my decaff coffee the staff never mind pouring some out to make room for my milk, safe to say i found her response extremely bizare. she then decided to add cold milk on top of the already full cups for my boys. However judging by the lack of warth we recieved from this lady the moment we walked in i felt it better i just continued to collect the drinks as i felt we were a inconvenience to her by just placing a rather simple order, so i grabbed some lids to place ontop of the cups only to have the hot liqued pour out over my hands after trying to place to lid on top of the cups that she refused to empty less than a minute prior . I took off the lids as they were covered in the hot chocolate and went to dispose of them replace with new lids only to return to seeing her then pouring some of the hot beverage out for me it seems it took me having a hot beverage pop out of the full cups onto my hands for her to then allow a little to be poured out) I 'm just glad it wasn 't the boys it spilled all over. then she continued to grab lids herself and place them on my cups which i really didn 't feel was sanitary what so ever in these times ,especially when the cup lids are available down near the door so customers can place there own lids on for sanitary reason during these covid times and to be honest i can 't be sure what germs can be found on her or anyone 's hands during these times . Not once did she ask was i ok? Or apologise. The only thing she seemed to care about in that moment was cleaning up on the hot chocolate that spilled on her counter even though most of it was on my hands) getting the payment seeing the back of us. I do have to say that writing these type of feedbacks isn 't something i particularly enjoy writing however i do feel that hopefully with these particular issues being highlighted that maybe these issues can be potentially be avoided in the future with other customers may also prevent heat related accidents from happening to customers customers of young age in the future. Hopefully some of the hygine concerns i touched upon might be able to be worked on in the future also.
Recieved our delivery of 2 large pizzas it was stone cold and squashed in the box. Wouldn't be ordering again

Went here for lunch one day, looking for something different. I got a Stromboli, which I understood just be cheese type pizza roll. Stromboli is a type of turnover filled with various Italian cheeses and cold cuts or vegetables. The dough used is either Italian bread dough or pizza dough. Anyway what I got it not what I expected, and the flavor was awful definitely not to my taste. On the receipt 1 x meatball Stromboli €7.50 1.00 for takeaway €6.50 Shocking not worth it.
