Love Chinese food and Lees Kitchen is always consistent in terms of quality. Prices ok and I recommend the chicken curry.

I have previously negatively reviewed this take away. But I just wanted a simple order: a portion of Chips and Chicken Noodle Soup. The narrow waiting area was crowded with teenagers just out of school. I felt uncomfortable in the crowed and wondered why they were just hanging around. Light dawned when I finally received my order. I have never tasted such amazing chips: substantially sized, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside..delicious. Not a hint of grease. And the teenagers knew this secret hence the crowd waiting for theirs. The humble soup was delicious too; fresh sprigs of veggies flavouring decent slices of chicken over tasty noodles and covered in a mildly peppery broth. Real comfort food.

I generally order Atleast 1-2 times a week as my family really enjoy the food in this restaurant but after the “customer service” I have received this evening I will never order from them again. I received a phone call from a member of staff after I had ordered on just eat, regarding my request to add seasoning to my meal deal which I have always requested, she stated that “this could be done at extra charge“ and I said “okay that’s fine, that’s new you’ve never done that before” in which she proceeded to tell me that I was wrong and that they have always charged and continued to repeat herself and wouldn’t let me speak To then I asked “are you calling me a liar? I have no problem paying the money but it’s never been charged before “ and she replied repeating herself again and said “whatever you think”, I then made her aware I was not happy with the way she spoke to me and that I will pay the extra this time but will not be ordering again due to the way I had been spoken to on the phone. She then hung up the phone on me… I then rang back and told her that “I would like my order refunded and that I was not happy with the way I was being treated and that she hung up the phone”, she then said she had other customers to deal with and that she hasn’t got time to speak to me Now I honestly had no problem at all paying any extra at all which is what I had said but there was no need for the way I spoken to and treated on that phone call, to be told she had no time to speak to me when we easily spend approx €100 a week in the takeaway. I’m honestly appalled Such a shame for a restaurant which has such lovely food to be spoiled by such bad attitude.

Utterly disgusting, fat and grizzly overcooked muck. Tired and extreme low quality. Avoid., lots of very good Chinese to choose from in the area who also deliver. I tried it just because it is near where I live, what a mistake. Totally disgusting.

I like this takeaway and order a lot of food. But this time the chicken was dry. The sauce. Onions and rice and taste was otherwise good. Indeed, large chunks of chicken so no complaints there….just the chicken was dry. Also, we had paid on the phone and they couldn’t find the payment for a while!
