While some appreciate the extensive seating and delicious food options, others found the service lacking in friendliness and the food quality to be inconsistent. From complaints about dry chicken sandwiches to praise for the large muffins and friendly staff, it seems this restaurant offers a mixed bag for customers. However, many reviews highlight the buffet, pancakes, and coffee as standout menu items worth trying. Overall, it appears KC Peaches offers a unique dining experience that's worth a visit for those seeking tasty and affordable meals.
I enjoyed the breakfast and coffee, which were quite good, but the service left something to be desired. I didn’t find the staff very friendly or polite. When I placed my order at the counter, one of the staff members abruptly tossed the table number at me. While I was eating my French toast and drinking my coffee, I couldn't help but notice that she kept glancing over at me, along with some of the other staff, which made me feel uncomfortable. I don't think I'll be returning to KC Peaches Cafe on Nassau Street.
The restrooms were in a very poor condition, reminiscent of festival facilities. I had to wait for cutlery to dry, which was quite inconvenient. There were also no napkins available. As a result, my food was cold while I waited for the cutlery. Although the food itself was good, the level of service and attention to detail was disappointing.
I was disappointed with my visit. I ordered the hot chicken sandwich, but the chicken was dry and stale, and it wasn't hot at all. I also didn't receive any response from the staff. It might be a good place for coffee and cake, but I wouldn't recommend it for lunch.
What a great find, top quality drinks made with care and cakes and cookies to love, all homemade. Just a great place, high ceilings, light and airy, staff were really nice too
On a coach day tour and found this lovely cafe by chance. Had a huge and amazing blueberry muffin with a cuppa, gorgeous, light and fresh. Hubby enjoyed his coffee, excellent standard for Mr Coffee Snob. Staff friendly and pleasant. Nice atmosphere within, clean and bright. Great cuppa stop.
