Though we had eaten here before, it was our first time to visit for Dinner. It was on Monday of the June Bank Holiday; DeVille 's was such a delight. Warm welcoming, we felt a lovely ' vibe ' from the moment we arrived. Service was great, professional very personable. Starters of Lamb Kidneys Prawn Crab Cocktail were lovely. Followed by an excellent Steak Samphire for him and a delicious Plaice Main for me. Faultless . Thank you
Very nice lunch menu. Delicious starters of chowder or crab meat among other starters. Fresh fish and food nicely presented. Nice table linen and pleasant friendly staff. Situated in Dalkey village. reasonably priced food. Enjoyable atmosphere.

Amazing dining experience. Starters, mains and dessert were first class. Excellent service and great atmosphere. All four of us really enjoyed our evening in DeVille's. Looking forward to a return visit. (Steaks were absolutely delicious)
Great night, super food, great choice and quality food nice lively atmosphere and convenient location in middle of Dalkey
DeVille's was recommended to us by our local friends we met at Finnegan's Pub. You know it's a good sign when no tables are available, then the reservation you're able to make is for a seat at the bar. The food did not disappoint. I enjoyed the lobster special they were running which was a hat tip to the lobster festival in Dalkey that weekend. It was delicious. My daughter and husband both had steaks which, according to them, were fantastic. We enjoyed tasty drinks as well.
This is a gem in Dalkey. The food is always really delicious, the menu is extensive. The wine choice is excellent too. If it’s a nice day the tables outside are fab for people watching. We’ve eaten here loads of times and we’ve always enjoyed.
Staff were excellent , price is good for Dalkey, it was the Sunday lunch menu and the place was busy . Giving 4 stars because the food lacked seasoning and the plaice portion on the menu was very small . Desert was very good, the manager was very pleasant and our waiter was a young gentleman. Would I go again ? Yes but my observation is that front of house is the champion . The chowder is almost there , it’s a little thin in texture , lacks seasoning, very good brown bread. The fish and chips look good but the batter is way too thick and lacks seasoning . I don’t usually add salt to my food but I had too . Don’t get me wrong, I am trying to be constructive. I will go again just to see if any of my suggestions are taken on . This venue in in a great location and local and passing trade will keep it open. It could be a Wow , you can’t get cant get a table Wow with a few small tweaks.

Lovely date night location. Buzzy ambiance, tasty food and charming location in the lovely village of Dalkey. Their Early Bird (5-7) is a great deal if you 're willing to order by 6:59pm.
Excellent food, drinks and service. The Ribeye was perfectly cooked, creamed spinach among the best i have had. Desserts were outstanding
Really enjoyed our dinner at the bar. Tarik, the bartender was very knowledgable about the menu and made some excellent suggestions. I don't often leave reviews, this meal deserved it. Well done!
Brilliant local restaurant featuring local irish cuisine with French notes. I had the pork belly which was delicious and the wonderful apple crumble. Fantastic service, friendly and fun local clientele. A great date night out.
In short: Good food, good service, good value : Visited DeVille's today for the first time, we were warmly welcomed and quickly seated. As we arrives at 3pm the place was in that lull between lunch and dinner which suited us fine as we just wanted to relax, have a chat and something to eat without the hustle and bustle of a busy environment. Neither of us were overall hungry so we skipped starters, I opted for the Club Sandwich chicken, cheddar cheese, streaky bacon, lettuce tomato while my friend went with the Open Crab Prawn Sandwich on homemade soda bread with mixed leaves , we both had chips as a side chunky and skinny respectively . My Club Sandwich could probably have fed a family of 5 in a Syrian refugee camp for a week, 7 hours after eating the Club Sandwich, and as I writing this review, I still feel full and have no desire to eat anything anytime soon! The Club Sandwich was an excellent blend, the bacon was crisp and contrasted well with the cheese, the chicken was plentiful while the tomato lettuce balanced the overall taste and consistency. Truth be told the Club Sandwich was so filling I struggled to finish it and could only eat one or two of the chunky chips. My friend had the same experience, her Open Crab Prawn Sandwich was excellent and very filling. While I'm not a fan of seafood I did sample the crab meat and prawns and I must admit that it was quite tasty. To sum up: The service was welcoming, friendly, helpful and accommodating. The food we tried was excellent, well priced ie: mid range and very filling. Overall the bill came to €35 €25 for food €10 for drinks which was value for money. Based on this one visit I would recommend DeVille's, I would like to visit again, maybe for dinner, and try some of their other dishes. While DeVille's ticked all the boxes and I don't have a bad word to say about the place or staff I'm giving a rating of 4 stars as I'm reserving 5 stars for the truly excellent.

Lovely place, great food, great staff. Good cocktails and wine list. Thoroughly recommended
Best restaurant in Dalkey, absolutely love it. Have never had a bad meal there and there are some delicious cocktails on offer too. One criticism is that a Whiskey Sour is usually made with Bourbon not Irish Whiskey so it’s not good to charge extra for bourbon! Other than that, AMAZING!
Would highly recommend this restaurant. Went with my husband and we both said we had the nicest meal ever. The service was great as was the atmosphere. Would definitely go back.
De Ville's was wonderful. David and his staff are professional, Happy and Serve beautiful food. Extensive wine list and the deserts are the best. I would recommend this fantastic restaurant to anyone because it caters for all. Do yourself a favour, book it for a wonderful night.
What a wonderful restaurant. Went there for Sunday lunch with the family yesterday and I can’t recommend it highly enough. The staff are professional and friendly and the quality of the food is excellent. A lovely lunch menu with a very good variety to choose from. I can’t wait to try it again at night

Amazing evening in DeVilles. Surprisingly, the fish was the star of the menu. The shelves of the Lamb were excellent as the Lamb Kidneys, but the Sole and the Square (king special) were perfectly cooked and brilliantly presented. A true feast well served. So much food in the starters and nets, no room and no need for desert.
Excellent food, service and atmosphere, Devilles is always consistent. Thanks to Katariona and the team super professional. (Translated by Google) Excelente comida, servicio y ambiente, Devilles siempre es coherente. Gracias a Katariona y al equipo super profesional.
Nice place in a beautiful street where I was. The atmosphere for a French feeling among pubs and cafés
Four of us went here for a meal at 1pm on a Saturday. Thankfully we reserved a table as the couple ahead of us didn't and they ate at the bar. Upon being seated, we were given glasses of water while we perused the menu. The menu wasn't extensive but I didn't have any difficulty finding something to suit my limited taste in food. We were surprised at how long it took for the food to arrive, it really didn't look that busy. However, we all enjoyed our food which was club sandwiches, mussels and fish and chips. Our server was lovely and very attentive. It only cost us €70 for four main meals. There was no alcohol, just sparkling water so that kept the price down. Of course, there was a tip added on top of that. (Translated by Google) Four of us went to eat here at 1 pm on a Saturday.
