The location is fantastic, the atmosphere is wonderful, and the staff are all amazing. I highly recommend this place. My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary here yesterday and it was an incredible experience. We traveled from Celbridge just to try their steak and we will definitely be returning. The desserts we had after our meal were also delectable.

I got a pasta dish and it was gorgeous. We got a side of onion rings to share and oh my god, honestly think they were the highlight of the meal. Some of the best onion rings I’ve tasted. Would recommend this place for a nice little date night. The food is good, the staff are friendly and if you have a table booked in the black wolf, you can head over after your meal for a few drinks

Small bruschetta starter at €9.95c seems overpriced. Mains were ok but small portions. Staff were nice. Won’t be back. Oh you also have to pay in car park at rear.

Went here saturday evening with my partner on a date night for a.drink.. were refused as they said they do not serve at the bar (wine bar on sign over the door)... read more Went here saturday evening with my partner on a date night for a.drink.. were refused as they said they do not serve at the bar (wine bar on sign over the door) when i asked to speak to a manager i was greeted by a very rude obnoxious woman who was of no help or in anyway understanding.. while trying to speak to her i was then verbally abused by 3 drunken young men.who were leaving restaurant and this was allowed happen by same mananger who just walked away.. I will be reporting this restaurant to the consumer complaint board.

The Mash, side salad, Gravy and the Onion Rings were all very nice. Unfortunately the same could not be said for the Steak. I ordered the 12 oz Strip Loin, medium rare. It was cooked medium to medium well done and for the most part was very tough. Really disappointing and whatever about the toughness of the meat, the fact that it was completely over cooked was very avoidable. Normally I would have said something but because I was in company and nobody else was complaining I let it go. I hope this was a once off and based on the quality of the rest of the food this may indeed have been the case.

Chicken wings were dry and tasted as if they had been cooked way in advance. 3 of us ordered the peppered beef and two of us very disappointed. You would do better in a works canteen and not pay 22 euro. Service not brilliant either
