I ordered a pizza with vegan cheese, which was satisfactory, but unfortunately, my server was not familiar with the vegetarian menu that featured selected vegan options. This made it a bit confusing to order from the main menu, as I felt there could have been more options that I was unaware of. The server was quite vague about what was and wasn't vegan. Vegan sandwich only offered lunch time until 4p, can make pizza with vegan cheese but it does not taste great. Staff are not very vegan knowledgeable
I had a pizza with vegan cheese which was nice enough but contrary to the listing my server had no knowledge of the vegetarian menu with marked vegan options. So ordering from main menu was a bit confusing and there may have been more options that I wasn’t aware of but server was pretty vague about what was and wasn’t vegan.
There were a few veganisable options on the menu but our server didn’t really have a clue when I asked (first hint). After one bite I realised the chips served with my vegan meal were sour cream and chives not vegan. The dressing on my salad was most definitely a creamy based one, and who knows whether my sandwich was actually vegan. The sandwich itself was tasty with lots of veg, but I recommend you definitely double check with your server about what vegan is when ordering to avoid having an experience like mine.
Got the vegan Stromboli sandwich for €7.50- oily but very tasty
The menu had a few options that could be made vegan, but when I asked our server about them, they seemed a bit unsure. To my disappointment, I soon discovered that the chips served with my vegan meal contained sour cream and were definitely not vegan. The dressing on my salad was clearly creamy, and I'm still unsure if my sandwich was truly vegan. On the plus side, the sandwich was delicious and packed with vegetables. However, I strongly recommend that you confirm with your server what is actually vegan to avoid a similar experience.
