We decided to go to the Golden dragon as a stop over on our road trip. The food was excellent & they were very careful to ensure no food had prawns in it as I'm allergic to them. The waitstaff were pleasant and helpful. The downside was, after being looked after by the receptionist (who helped with the food order etc), the young man who took over had poor English & it was difficult to ask for anything. Whether it was my extreme hunger or my experience dining at numerous Chinese restaurants, I must say that the food at this place was incredibly delicious! While the decor may be lackluster and uninspiring, the quality of the food more than makes up for it. Don't overlook the Golden Dragon - it's worth a visit!
We enjoyed the food at this restaurant. My wife ordered the Lemon Chicken and special Fried Rice, while I had the BBQ Chinese Pork. Both dishes were excellent and the portions were generous. We were so full that we didn't have space for the Deep Fried Ice cream, but we are looking forward to trying it next time.
We ordered takeout from Golden Dragon and it was delicious. We have tried several Chinese restaurants in Dubbo, but this one is definitely a top contender. The service was exceptional with very friendly staff. We will definitely be back for some crispy chicken next time we are hungry. Thank you, Golden Dragon!
Delicious, great worth, huge portions, we are ordered a take-away pack and it served us for two nights, including dim-sims, honey-hues, satay-rib, sweet and sour-skin, special roasted rice, mini-ferer rolls and dip sauce. good service, couldn't make phone calls, how busy, so called and waited to ring the phone never stopped, very popular
My wife ordered our meal. it was finished in 20 minutes. everything was delicious and all the servings were very generous. I'm visiting dubbo, but I'd come back without a second thought.
