Rose Garden West Dubbo

Lovely food. Money bags, masman curry, chicken & cashews. Terrific service. Able to box up left overs to bring home.

First time we had takeaway and is was just beautiful food, the next time we left it a bit late to eat in, Friday night, so recommend booking if you plan to eat in, even if ordering take away there was a half hour wait. Firiendly and helpful staff.

We had dinner here tonight. Lucky we booked and even luckier we booked at 6.30 because they had a 60th birthday with about 40 guests to deal with, as well as many take aways, and all other tables full. Service was excellent, and the food quite good (apart from not much duck in our red curry) but prices were at the top end for Thai. We were seated by the door when we arrived and asked to be moved to a table further down the window (it was also reserved but they didn't show while we were there). It was icy cold every time that door opened and it did often with the big party on.

Visiting Dubbo I jumped on Trip Advisor in search of good thai food for my one night stop over. All the reviews raved about Rose Garden Thai, and it also had Gluten Free options (which is a must for me).I ordered my favourite, Pad Thai, plus a special fried rice for the road. I was quite disappointed after reading so many good reviews. The pad thai was quite dry and had almost a curry taste to it. The rice was ok, but I've definitely had better.What I found most disappointing was the price. It was $20 for pad thai, well over what I am used to paying, for a much lesser quality. The staff were friendly and polite, but quality was far from what I expected. Especially considering Thai is my favourite food.

Takeaway thai conveniently located close to motel. Had a chicken green curry, lots of flavour and a nice amount of spice in the dish. Order was ready within 15 mins of ordering, prices are a little on the expensive side.
