A great looking cafe, unfortunately we could not a table for our group of 8 Not a problem we ordered takeaway coffeesVery disappointing.
I was greeted immediately and advised I could sit anywhere three was a free table. I decided to sit inside since it was a cold day. This was a mistake as I think it was cooler inside than out. The inside is quite dark even with almost half a dozen lights on.Water was brought to the table quickly but it was not cold and in a dirty container. The menu seems very limited.I ordered a latte with 1 equal. They took about 5 minutes to make the coffee which wasn't too bad but forgot the equal. I didn't enjoy the flavor of the coffee as it tasted a little burnt/bitter. I generally enjoy stronger beans do it could just be my preference.I ordered the beef burger, not something I would normally order from a cafe, which took about 15 minutes. The presentation was average. There is no salt on the table for the chips and none brought/offer with the meal. The chips were perfectly cooked. Light and slightly crunchy without being overly oily. The burger itself was full of flavor. The beef is clearly the hero with subtle undertones of aioli and salad.Overall it was a present experience. I do wish they had some heating inside and a larger menu but they cook what they offer very well. Due to the small selection and average coffee though I likely won't be back.
