Cargo is fast becoming my favourite restaurant in Pier 7, not to expensive and the food is tasty. Service last time round was poor.

Good place to have dinner and drinks, with Marina views as long as you sit by the balcony. Staff were friendly and helpful, always checking on us. Portions on mains are on the big size which was good. Happy hour till 8pm on most days, they do have some other promotions, check their menu for those. At this point I would like to flag a very concerning incident that happened on our way out, for the management to review. I will not deduct stars from the total rating, but I am willing to not come back if this isn’t addressed. So while we went to the lift area, the friendly ladies were not in reception and instead, there was a man swearing in the worst possible way, loudly, on the phone. He was swearing non stop, using some hideous English expressions, not caring that guests can hear all of it. I then approached the security guy to complain that this is unacceptable his reply was “do you have a problem with it?”. Well yes I do have a problem, and I won’t be coming back to Cargo when I’m being talked to like that.
