I recently tried the best Mexican food I've had in a long time at this restaurant. I ordered the taco salad without cheese or sour cream, with black beans and added avocado. I also tried the crispy potato taco without crema, and the plantain dessert. The staff confirmed that the black beans were vegan and there were no animal products in our order. They were very accommodating and the food was delicious. I will defin... View all feedback.
What Ashley Tomkinson doesn't like about Village Taqueria And Grill:
I heard good things about this place but I didn't have a good first visit. Missing one of my food items, and they were trying to cross contaminate food. Someone that I ordered for has seafood allergies, why would you try to mix food together when they are separate orders? And it advertises as to getting 2 tacos for $3.50 but you actually get one, still not a bad deal but they didn't taste worth it. The dessert was al... View all feedback.
The nachos dulce at this restaurant are truly incredible. For those who enjoy the combination of cinnamon and sugar on a crispy, perfectly cooked triangle of deliciousness, this dish is a must-try. If you're a fan of Taco Bell's cinnamon twists but frustrated by their inconsistency, look no further than these nachos dulce. The price is well worth it for the unique and tasty dessert. It never occurred to me that tortillas could work so well in a sweet dish, but I am pleasantly surprised. Thank you for expanding my culinary horizons.
This is the best Mexican food I've had since moving to the area. I ordered the taco salad without cheese or sour cream, with black beans and added avocado. I also got the crispy potato taco without crema and the platano bellenos. The person at the counter confirmed that the black beans were vegan and there were no animal products in our order. They were really nice! The food was delicious and I will definitely be returning.

During our vacation in the Finger Lakes, we decided to leave the busy city of Ithaca and head towards Dryden. We stumbled upon this small restaurant and decided to give it a try. My husband ordered the chicken street tacos and I went with the barbacoa quesadilla. Both dishes were delicious! Despite the limited space in the restaurant, the flavors of the food more than made up for it. I would recommend getting your food to go if it's busy and finding a nice spot like a park bench to enjoy your meal. If we ever find ourselves in the area again, we will definitely be back!
Delicious tacos! If you're in the Dryden area, you have to give them a try. I am very particular about Mexican food and salsa, and these tacos were fantastic! Highly recommended.
