Pine House Kitchen

4.3 / 5 (137 reviews)

Description

At the Pinehouse, guests experience a vibrant atmosphere complemented by attentive service, creating a welcoming dining environment. While some diners encountered inconsistencies with food quality—such as lukewarm and overly salty dishes—others praised the flavorful options like glazed pork chops and shrimp vodka penne. Large parties appreciate the restaurant's accommodating nature, though challenges with bill splitting can detract from the experience. Overall, the Pinehouse garners mixed reviews; while some menu items and the attentive staff shine, the restaurant's potential is limited by its pricing and occasional quality control issues. Nevertheless, many patrons express enthusiasm for returning.

My family and I had a wonderful dinner at the Pinehouse. My shrimp vodka penne was very tasty! Our waitress did a fantastic job. Very friendly and took great care of us. My family always had a cold full drink too. I also like theatmosphere. Very warm rustic feel in a lower light setting. At the front door the Pinehouse had a sign stating that the wait could be longer due to a short staff. Well I think they knocked it out of the park even with a short staff! Great job Pinehouse, we'll be back again!

Average food, higher than average prices. Smelled like dirty mop water when we came for dinner at 6pm. Bathroom was dirty. Just not what i expected for the prices. Side salad included a few pieces of lettuce with 2 cherry tomatoes and one cucumber. The soup was overly salty. My prime rib and mashed potatoes were served lukewarm. Tasted like instant potatoes and frozen veggies. I will say the prime rib was cooked well and was better once i took it home and heated it up. It sucks because there arent many options for food in the area and i was hoping to have a nicer place to go to but id rather drive farther than regularly come here and pay $60 for two people to eat. The burgers/fries are good but there are a handful of places that are less expensive to get the same thing nearby. 2 stars because the waitress was attentive.

Was our first time there, tried the nativity. I must agree with the reviewers who said the main rib was hard and we had to ask for au jus. beautiful place to eat. go back and try their sandwich menu. we saw many people eating.

Had my Grandma's 80th birthday party here, they were very accommodating to us especially for such a large party of 50 or so people. The food was excellent, prices were reasonable. Only complaint we had was that they refused to split up the bill into different groups. We wanted the bill split into 5 groups for the 5 families but instead they came out with just one bill. It took us over a half hour trying to figure out what everyone spent and venmo each other, break cash bills etc. Would have taken the 2 servers only an extra 5 minutes to keep track and split it up for us.Next time for large parties hopefully the owner makes it a policy that the bill for so many people doesnt go on one bill...kinda ridiculous

Red Sangria, lemon rice soup, stuffed mushrooms, sauteed lake perch with wild rice and sauteed fresh green beans. Carrot cake has four layers! Great service. Everything is very nice.
