My beautiful daughter-in-law and I shared a Tapas lunch at Brandy Creek today. The food was absolutely delicious! We shared 4 different Tapas, which was the perfect amount for the two of us for lunch. We both had a glass of the Brandy Creek Pinot Gris which was also delightful.I would thoroughly recommend this lovely hidden gem, just outside of Warragul. Was a little disappointed with the Brandy Creek Restaurant when we dined there. The location is beautiful, with fantastic views, but the Service and atmosphere were lacking unfortunately. To accompany the the Paella menu at lunch, they have musicians playing Spanish style music, complete with Dancing and castanets, but it is just too loud in some parts of the Restaurant and makes conversation among patrons difficult. We dined on the Tapas menu and ordered four dishes; The first arrived at our table after 15-20 minutes and we didn't see the other Three until almost 20 minutes later. Equally drink service was very slow, to the point that we were ordering 2-3 drinks at a time for each Diner to avoid the long wait times. The staff serving us were very apologetic about the long wait and it was such a pity as we were so looking forward to the dining experience, and left somewhat disappointed.

We took my husband's father & step mum to this beautiful winery on advice from our friends. The property is stunning & the views were equally as stunning. Everything was so well kept. The young lady that seated us at our table was very cheery & very well informed. She gave us plenty of time to get our head around the Tapas style menu to which none of us were familiar with. We chose 3 bread style Starters - all were delicious & we all hoped we hadn't overdone it for when our next course arrived. We chose Beef Cheeks, Pork Belly, Crispy Duck & Prawns all serves were small but absolutely delicious & absolutely filling. We had left room for dessert & shared 2 serves of Churros. That completed our meal & we all left satisfied. We are returning next weekend with friends & my husband & I can't wait to pick something else to try!!My only complaint was that we were seated by the window, & although the day was cool once the sun came out it was very uncomfortable & both my husband & I had beads of sweat trickling down our face. The blinds were closed for us, but the heat was still coming through.
We visited today & I felt compelled to write a review. I cannot comment on the food- as we never ate there, (will be back to try the food as its a different area to wine completely), but the wine itself as well as the wine tasting experience was terrible. The boy who served us knew very little about the wines, the winery or the local area. We tried sweet wines & reds & white all out of order. He couldn't tell us anything about certain grapes- & said the Ròse was a type of grape- which was red on the outside and white in the middle. This would have been fine if we knew nothing about wine- but we know a lot about wines & the more he talked, the more embarrassed I felt for him. Considering it was a busy Sunday, you'd think they would have put a knowledgeable person on for tastings. The wines weren't nice at all- which was obviously another bad thing- such a shame. He didn't offer us lunch, or tell us anything about the winery or the day spa there- which was a shame. I asked if he would recommend anywhere for another wine tasting & he did suggest somewhere else. We drove the 20 minutes to the next place & they don't even do tastings!
Some shared tasty tapas, a glass of excellent pinot noir and a beautiful view combined to make for a lovely lunch. The artwork by the ultra-talented Craig Fison, created something a bit different and interesting. Our waitress Meg, was very welcoming and made us feel quite special and her sage advice on the food selection was much appreciated. I've been looking for a nice/heavenly place high on a hill to take guests to and now I've found it!
