Our food came amazingly quick and at the height of the lunch hour. I had the plaice with half chips and half mashed potatoes and my brother inlaw devoured his big bowl of seafood chowder. All washed down with some of the best Guinness in Ireland!

The chowder was lovely, with plenty of fish and tasted really fresh. The roast beef was a real letdown. No roast potatoes, no stuffing, and the portions were small. My daughter had the chicken wings, and they were lovely. We asked for our deserts to be taken away, and when we opened the box at home, they were presented beautifully. Good value for money, nice place, lovely staff but the roast needs a bit of work instead of feeling shop bought. We would still go back but would order differently.

Once a server takes your order you 're given a buzzer, then once the buzzer goes off, head to your table and the food arrives pretty promptly thereafter. It 's a very efficient and tasty operation, but feels like a dining hall rather than a restaurant. The staff are excellent.
