Terasa Vraja Dunării Drobeta Turnu Severin

After the waitress told us we have to wait for an hour to place the order, she didn't tell us that in fact they were not cooking at all for the rest of the day.. We had to ask again in one hour if we can place the order and the other waitress was more honest with us and told us that we have waited hungry for nothing for an hour. They need help in the kitchen and better communication with their customers.

This is a restaurant on the donau, which gives us a wonderful and special landscape for the evening trips. both serve and eat leaves much to be desired, about an hour wait to serve. the waiters are careless to order and bring them. The prices are regrettable for the foods offered. I only have the restaurant for the wonderful view.

Came here despite its 3* rating because it's the only place that was open close to train station. I had very modest expectations but it still managed to disappoint. Others complain about service but service for me was fine. The food however was small in selection, portion size, overpriced, and completely unflavoured. The mains are mostly variations of grilled or fried fish listed as 100g. I ordered something 300g but it was still tiny. About a third of what I'd expect in an adult sized meal. The mains come with no sides, you have to pay for that separately. I ordered vegetables, they came half cooked, without any seasoning, oil, herbs nothing. They weren't even grilled as they were listed as. If I could speak Romanian I would've complained a lot and refused to pay. The sauce also had to be purchased separately but was awful, some sort of watered down curdled yogurt with a few chilli flakes thrown in. It looked and tasted bad. The fillet of perch tasted okay once I seasoned it but was tiny. Paid in total 66 lei for the meal with water. I have had much larger and better meals in the UK and elsewhere in Europe for same money.
