The Black Swan - Driffield

A fantastic family friendly pub!!!! Can not believe the last review....don’t take any notice of it!!! We have three children and eat here regularly. They couldn’t be made more welcome. We were here last night and our 7 year old was laid down with her feet up and a cushion behind her head on the sofa at one of the tables after our meal and the landlord tried to start a pillow fight with her!! A real home from home atmosphere. The food is wonderful and so reasonably priced. A family run business and the staff can’t do enough for you. Quote of the year from our youngest who was recently taken for Sunday lunch at a rather posh Golf Club in Pocklington: “I don’t like these Chicken Goujons they’re not like the nice ones at The Black Swan!” Says it all really!

Lovely beef dinner and friendly staff, would definitely recommend.

Back again as we had an amazing meal earlier in the week. Tonight's meal was just as nice. Massive portion and all home made. Staff make u feel very welcome. One of the nicest pubs we have been in. 5*.

What a fantastic pub! just a few days away with friends and we were told about this pub because they dog friendly (tap room only.) can not recommend this place enough, friendly staff, great service, excellent food! we went three times during our two days and were never disappointed (also got breakfast cooked for us the afternoon only because we had mentioned that we had no breakfast yet) always gave us water for the dogs and all came by to clog them. we will definitely gong back to this small corner of yorkshire and will despite a bee line for this pub again thanks to youngs, they will definitely make our stay in dacre lakes!

We had a nice Sunday dinner, the Yorkshire puddings were from this world and the renter gave me advice on how to make them the same. I thought the whole experience was amazing, personal so friendly and welcoming, the best I ever eat and in everything I recommend
