The staff at this restaurant are very friendly and accommodating. The food is always cooked to order, ensuring it is hot and fresh. Their website makes ordering easy. They even brought my food out to me since I had my puppy with me. This is one of the best fish and chip shops I have ever visited.
As we live in the village and had visitors at short notice as a quick meal we order fish and chips for four people it was the biggest waste of money the fish was awful strong flavor the chips pale and greasy. we have had fish and chips from this fish shop over the years as far back as when THOMSONS AND HARPERS both ran it and had a well deserved reputation for their fish and chips
Couldn't eat about 10 chips due to black bits. Surely the quality of the chips could have been checked.
I visited this restaurant today, which is usually the best place for fish and chips, but not anymore. I ordered fish and chips for lunch, but the chips were dry and not fresh, and the fish was overcooked, as if it had been reheated from the day before. I requested an open container and later realized they had charged me extra for a box. I am not sure what has happened to this restaurant, but I would not recommend it now.
The wetwang store excellent service food was perfect all hot and the whole family really enjoyed it all x
