The Roebuck - Draycott in the Clay

I have lived in this pub and saw that it has deteriorated. gill, darren, abbie and the Roebuck team have turned this place around. it is exceptional! they are the perfect people for this place, with their own home brewery beer, there warm welcoming atmosphere, there are beautiful new renovations and especially there delicious food. After they had shut down a few meal times here, even in a very busy night they found us another table, and to tell us there will be a waiting time, they have estimated there as soon as possible delecious food out. we have 2 pubs to foot in our village and the roebuck was always our drinking hole or our to go. but now it is our more defined swallow. We cannot recommend this pub enough. personal, where friendly and helpful, eating was excellent and very good value for money, and as for the roebuck beer, well I think for the first (bitter) brew from their pre-site micro brewery absolutely amazing. we had the pleasure of having a rehearsal of their coming (blonde) brew and that was equally impressive. well done to all involved. we're coming back.

We dined here in November and were impressed by the attentive staff and the charming atmosphere of the restaurant. We noticed their promotional Christmas and Boxing Day menus, so we decided to make a reservation for Boxing Day. It turned out to be the best decision we made! The food was incredible and served hot, and the mint cakes were absolutely divine! I received so much turkey that I took some home for our dogs. The lovely lady from the kitchen even came out and filled a container with bark meat and turkey for them! Exceptional service, wonderful staff, and the food was so reasonably priced that we will definitely be booking again very soon.

We reserved a table for my mom's surprise birthday dinner, and it was a fantastic experience. The food was delicious, the staff was welcoming and friendly, and the owners were incredibly accommodating. We will definitely be back soon!

This refurbished traditional pub is run by a fantastic family! You won't be disappointed—if it's anything like their previous establishment, the food will be amazing!
