I absolutely adore Cubby's! The tri-tip steak torta is amazing and you must try the sweet potato fries as a side. The rosemary fries are also delicious!
I used to visit Cubbys every now and then when I was in the mood to splurge on a gourmet burger and fries. However, something has changed. Whether it's due to inflation or shrinkflation, the burgers now come with smaller patties that just don't satisfy me like they used to. The flavor is still delicious, but the portions are too tiny for the high prices they charge.
The sandwich was fine, but my Mac and cheese was served cold, which was disappointing considering the price I paid for it.
The food was amazing! I got the 3 cheese grilled cheese and my wife got the steak salad. We got both the regular and sweet potato fries. The service however was chaotic and unresponsive. The guy at the register looked at me like he didn?t understanda word I said. Perhaps they?ll be better trained once the location has been around longer.
Me and my friend went to try this place. Almost $60 dollars for what would have been $20 at McDonalds and would?ve had better quality there. The burgers were very mid, the fry sauce tasted like tree sap and the fries tasted more like cleaning suppliesthan food. My friend?s burger was dry and grinded up his mouth like he was chewing staples. Would rather starve than come hereagain. The breadcrumbs in the mac n cheese weren?t even stern in.
