I love having Beans Brews available as the better alternative to Starbucks. As far as I can tell they treat their staff well and lack the toxic and repressive culture that Starbucks has. However, the starting pay seems to be $16/hr which may work out for 16-18 year olds who are dependant on their parents, but is not sustainable for any one who are trying to be independent. I've tried this place multiple times because it's literally minutes away from my home. But the coffee and long drive thru service is so bad. I don't know how you mess up an iced mocha but the drink I was given tasted terrible. It was slightly warm, watered down with like 3 ice cubes. I also bought a muffin and I was given a Costco muffin wrapped up in plastic which cost like $6 in addition to my $5 coffee. Won't be going back, it's a shame this location is so terrible because I'd be here all the time if it was better!
