Spiralen Cafe Og As - Drammen

An amazing experience; first endless spiral tunnel in the mountain, then a magnificent view from above over the city and the long valley to the west. in addition, newly baked wadding and smoking hot coffee. we would have had sandwiches and even dinner, but we stopped at this time. from here there are several tracks to a series of goals (yes, they can go back to the city, but as they need a car to get up, they will probably take along. happy hiking and eating!

The café was dirty when you got inside, tables dirty, floor dirty, even the guy who worked there looked like he had not washed his white chefs shirt in several years. Not friendly or service minded either. Food was expensive and not very good. The...view was amazing, but the café was a joke. It was really so bad that we started to look for hidden cameras, because we actually thought it might be a joke.

Very cozy and casual place to enjoy a meal, snack or drink (hot or cold after a walk in the area or just on a day off. I would visit spiralen as a tourist and definitely pay a visit to the cafe for a waffle...and a hot chocolate with whipped cream. They also have beer! : The danish guy who works there is super friendly and will gladly take a picture of you!

This restaurant (and the area outside it) has a lovely view of Drammen city with a river passing through it. As regards the food and service, the standard is quite ordinary. Not much on the menu card and whatever is available is not of quality...that you might love to have again. It's ok to have an odd drink or a cup of coffee in the restaurant after a walk in the forest but if you are looking for a nice lunch or something, you might be disappointed. But just to enjoy the scenery, I would love to be here.

Was a nice walk and afterwards drinking coffee , looking at the sight. It was sunny and warm. No wind so just nice sitting and sipping coffe.
