We are from Texas and decided to extend our vacation to Lake Ouachita by traveling through Louisiana. We decided to camp at Lake Bistineau, and saw signs for this local seafood resturaunt. We are so glad we stopped in! We ordered catfish and boiled shrimp, and we were not dissappointed! The buffet has bean soup, coleslaw, pickled green tomatoes, and just puppies to go with what you order. The flavors were excellent,... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Wilson's Steak And Seafood:
This place doesn't even deserve a star. We had a big group waiting 15 minutes to get drinks. 45 minutes wait to get food. A person at our party didn't get food until everyone else was done. We had to get rid of it. The waiter at the end told us to be safe and take care of them on tips. Very disappointed. It used to be great 3 years ago. View all feedback.

Wonderful people. Great service. Excellent food. Kid friendly. Many time with live music.
If this place had negative stars I would put that have been to Wilson’s since a child’s amazing atmosphere and food decided to wish the family, I could rewind time because nothing tasted as it almost sent many years ago all the foods got back things that we did not even order the cat owners cleaned steak was undercooked ended it not getting and sent it back, then tried to pay dirty fish back and the owner says rude
It's been 20 years since I was here, the food is spectacular I had the Catfish Acadian, catfish with etouffe up in a bed of rice.
It's been awhile since I ate here and was looking forward to it. Unfortunately, I got mega sick a few hours after I ate. This lasted throughout the night and into this early morning. What caused my sickness? Not being a doctor, I can only assume it was the cole slaw. It was very wet as you can see in the photos and not very cold. I had a few bites and didn't eat anymore. For that reason I gave it a 2 stars. It could also have been the liquid tarter sauce. I couldn't believe how it poured out of the container. I put some by itself on a plate so you can see it. Again, I try everything. It was nasty and once again not cold for something that should have been. It was strange because they brought the cocktail sauce in a little cup but the tarter in a squeeze bottle. It should have been the other way around considering the cocktail did NOT have to be cold but the mayo based tarter, did. The bean soup was tasty as I remembered. Once you have had it you go there for it : The fish was cooked so darn good I want the recipe myself. The hushpuppies were the perfect size, but dry on the inside and greasy on the outside. They were also fried too dark for me. Frog legs, French fries, tore up and split shrimp was odd but all that tasted as it should. BE AWARE: I asked if I could sub a baked potato for the fries, she said yes then charged me over $3 for the BP. And no, she did not tell me there was an upcharge for the potato. I had originally given one star since I got so sick. I added another one for the other food and another important element. The owner. This guy was very polite. He also bussed the tables and greeted guest. I was so taken about positively by him that I did not want to give just one star. Now, please note that they are closing next week and remodeling. Their intention is to re-open next year. There is a lot about that building he knows that we don't, and it has to be brought up to the new millennium. This tells me he is a very smart man too. Having said that, I would eat there again but Oneill.noymest the cole slaw unless they change their policy on keeping it cool.
