Saturday, 5 21 2022, the experience really did not have a single high point?we picked up a pizza from a favorite place afterwards and enjoyed this as dinner. Service: 4 top, lots of waiting for drinks and then the cocktails were served warm, we were warned dinner would be a wait so that was fine. The servers were trying and we felt for them. There seemed to be an organizational issue?we were not sure who was responsible for service of our table, repeated our orders to multiple people asking for it, ans had to find the hostess to pay the check on the way out after a 15 min wait, at the table, to pay the check. Food: The Parmesan cheese plate had carrot salad and pats of butter on half of the saucer size dish it was served on. It also was not served with bread until we asked why butter was on the plate. The cheese was presented in bite size chunks on half the plate?it was not visually appetizing. The other apps were served as expected and were also not impressive.. Upon arrival of dinner?,one person could not eat their chicken dish and we did not send it back as it seemed to be a challenged evening for the establishment. By this point we were confused because they were busy, but were not enjoying the experience. Also, the Saturday pasta with spinach and cream sauce (manicotti type dish) was delivered crunchy, tasting burnt, over broiled I imagine?and when one asked for a steak knife to cut it they did oblige and did not inquire why it was needed : ?see attached picture. They seem to own a few places on the block, we had pre-cocktail at the Pags Pub and regretted not dining at the pub instead. People seemed to be enjoying the dining experience at this establishment.

Our waitress was completely incompetent. I ordered chicken cutlet for my son, she explained that it would come ?chopped? I said that?s great. What arrived was a full boiled chicken breast. Overdone and disgusting. I ordered a mozzarella tomato sandwich. The bread was stale, covered in oil. No balsamic no seasoning no basil no arugula. Just Costco cheese and soggy tomatoes on a slider bun and no sides. For this meal we waited over 45 minutes and were never offered drinks or checked on. Go elsewhere!!

Despite three employees being visible and only two other groups waiting for a table, we had to wait quite a while to be seated. In fact, we were the only customers in the restaurant at the time. The waiter appeared inexperienced and unfamiliar with the menu, which I could overlook since he seemed new. My friend asked to add mushrooms to her duck, and the cook came out to confirm it was possible. However, when our food finally arrived—about ten minutes after it was placed on the table—the cook reappeared looking visibly agitated. He didn’t say a word, just took the sauce from our table and walked away. I was unsure of the reason for his behavior, as we had been polite and friendly throughout our meal. On my last visit, we waited around 45 minutes for our food. Given the service issues, I don’t plan to return until there are improvements. There are many other dining options available in Doylestown.

I was recently there and has to... read more The last two times I went to Paganini I found the food to be very good; however, the wait time to place an order is ridiculous. I was recently there and has to ask twice if we could place our order. The food took a long time for it to be brought to ourtable. The staff is (how can I say this politely) a bit strange. It took a while to be seated. Keep in mind that there werethree visible employees and only two groups of two people waiting to be seated AND we were the only customers in the restaurant.The waiter didn't seem to know the menu items. He was young and possibly a new employee, so this didn't bother me. My friendasked if she could have mushrooms added to her entree. The chef came out and said yes. When our food was finally placed beforeus and about 10 minutes into eating, the chef came over to our table. I thought maybe he was going to ask how our entrees were,but he seemed perturbed, didn't say a word, took the sauce off our table and walked away. I have no idea why he acted sostrangely. We were polite and friendly throughout the time we were there. The previous time I was there the food took about 45minutes to get to our table. Until this restaurant is under different management I'll not go there. There are lots of otherrestaurants in Doylestown to choose from.
