I hope this place never closes down. It amazing coffee and it’s convenient you are walking/jogging along the path. The people that manage this are so friendly! View all feedback.
What Alan Knepper doesn't like about Nixon's Coffee House:
Smoothie was basically a very expensive ice slushy. Just shaved ice with some berry flavoring $8 for a small (which would be ok if it was made out of fruit). Atmosphere/location is good. View all feedback.

Great place to stop, catch your breath, commiserate...on the Platte River bike trail.
I end up here many times wile riding my bike. I love having an option for a coffee, smoothie or a snack on the trail!
Cute little cafe food. A great idea for a rest stop while you're walking or biking the beautiful trails. We were working in the area and were confused when we didn't see the place by the parking lot, we didn't realize we had to walk to it. We tried their coffee of the day it had good flavor and tried a scone which was good. Also had the spicy turkey panini and were a bit disappointed, I was expecting it to be spicy but it wasn't, and it was about half of a regular panini which is why I say cute little food.Definitely good for a quick bite but not for a meal if you eat like a normal human. We still spent almost $40 for 2 paninis, 1 coffee, 1 smoothie and a scone which is around the same amount we would have at other places for a meal.
Nothing better than a ride up coffee shop right off the Platte River
