The Social - Downingtown

Place looks great! Friend and I loved the food and cocktails. Chicken and waffles and the meatloaf were amazing! When we were leaving my friend said she wished she wasn't so full so she could be hungry again to eat more!

The Social Downingtown has a beautiful interior. The garden vegetable pasta was absolutely delicious and creative. The pistachio fried chicken was cooked to perfection and I highly recommend it! We also ordered blackened Scottish salmon which was nicely seared and flavorful. The Vermont burger had a great cook on it and the fries were fried amazingly. I can not wait to return. The service was impeccable. I love a restaurant that has unique dishes.

Was looking for a spot to grab some drinks and some comfort food. Bam! Enter The Social. Huge bar area with very friendly staff. Jake (not from State Farm) did a great job behind the bar. Oh, and for those who come on Friday and Saturday, enjoy half price drafts and wine from 4:00-6:00. Highly recommend.

Most tender delicious scallops I've ever had! Pulled pork burrito tender and delicious with Old Bay chips. Mouth-watering pot roast fries. Bartender even handcrafted a custom drink for us!

Food was high quality, service was decent. Not too many options in our area for New Orleans style creole cuisine. They have regular sandwich options for those who don?t want southern inspired dishes Update 7/2022 Been coming here for several years but this last visit Staffing seemed to be an issue. Kitchen was amazing food was so good as always but so many staff standing around when we needed drinks refilled and when we arrived we waited a while for someone to greet us.
