This rather 'small, sparse ' diner is on my way to another destination in Downingtown, so I usually stop for breakfast about twice a month. Of course what makes this diner so ICONIC is that the movie THE BLOB, with Steve McQueen was partially filmed here. On this spot! It's so cute on a Sunday morning. What amazing waffles and fresh strawberries. Everything was amazing. The waitress came right on time as we had a mouthful of food to ask how it was. Great breakfast and great lunch. Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp .
Didn't expect much. Food was good enough, but I got the distinct impression that time has passed this place by.
Please make sure the toilets are always clean. Service is great.
Just wanted to see old The Blob diner location, so we drove to into town from Phoenixville, PA. Good food and atmosphere, and great service.
We had a late breakfast. The food was wonderful. The server was friendly and attentive. It was just what a diner should be!
